Loose as snow from the sky above,
approach the ground
and hover as light as a hummingbird.
Wait and watch for the wind to wisp the hair of a dandelion,
then come to rest on the pillow of pale white fluff and laugh.
This is where you’ll dream the dream of the smallest fairy.
This is how you’ll see what she sees when she’s asleep
and loose upon the night.
I cannot tell you what you’ll see,
but you’ll be soft and slow,
and soon the wind will wake you.
