We rode the Three Rivers Rambler today, in an old first class pullman car named Resplendent. The trip was nice even if a little pricey for the short duration and the limited viewing from the thicket surrounded tracks. David found a unoccupied conductor’s hat in a closet on the train. We saw a marble quarry, a brickyard, an old cemetery, muddy river water, kudzu, and a lone man creating a large wake with his speedboat. And we got these pictures.
It was a good end for a weekend that started with tornadoes in town and bronchitis.
